We strive to offer EVERYBODY the chance to dance and aim to turn no student away. While we have very flexible payment plans for tuition, we also offer our own scholarship and bursary program which aids deserving dancers who show promise in the arts and/or are in financial need. Scholarship auditions are held in the Spring each year for the following season and is announced to our membership and the general public. While KPAC’s scholarship is mainly based on the potential of ongoing excellence in the performing arts, financial circumstances are another consideration. Bursaries are offered twice per year and have an application deadline to match our current semesters. Our bursaries are distributed solely on financial need. If you or someone you know might qualify for our scholarship or bursary program and make less than a $50,000 combined household income, please email us at kinshipperformingartscentre@gmail.com for more details.
ProKids is a Municipally funded program that reaches the MODL communities. If you are located in the Town of Bridgewater or Town of Lunenburg, you will want to contact the town’s administration directly for support. Many of our students have been very successful with their applications and this is a great source of funding for those in need.
ProKids applications are found here:

Jumpstart is another source of funding that is offered privately for youth through Canadian Tire. This is a great starting point for funding to help subsidize the cost of tuition. We usually recommend starting with a Jumpstart application, and then applying through ProKids or your Town for the remainder of the costs. KPAC often contributes Dancewear, Exam Fees, Pointe Shoes etc to the families who need additional support.
